US7IID/p DX-pedition to URFF-098 in 2011.
11 November 2011, the US7IID/p DX-pedition took place in the Kramatorsky landscape park "Rocky outcrop of upper Cretaceous". In the expediting team included my friend Vladimir UT7IF and Serge US7IVW. National Natural Park "Rocky outcrop of upper Cretaceous" is included in the programme of World Flora Fauna Award. In directory WFF awards for this park was reference the number URFF-098. Status assigned by the regional natural monument No. 310, June 21, 1972.
Age of the chalky mountains Ч 90 million years old. Mount consists of deposits of the last period of the Mesozoic era, which had evolved in net warm marine waters from small marine organisms with lime bones.At the foot of the mountain are located multiple niches, potholes, large and small caves.

To work on the air, we used a Inverted Vee antenna, 200 watts and home made "Drozdov" transceiver. For 12 hours in the air was made 215 CW QSO on 14 MHz and 3,5 MHz bands.

But there have been problems with electricity supply. Therefore we must stopped the DX-pedition. Our apologies for a the bad signals in the air. We will take into account the experience of the expedition.

22-23 November 2011. I am back toin the Kramatorsky landscape park "Rocky outcrop of upper Cretaceous". To work on the air, we used a Inverted Vee antenna and 100 watt transceiver Yaesu FT-840. For 24 hours in the air was made 605 CW QSO on 3,5-7-14-21-28 MHz.
